We requested a variation in shape that was a real success- a 3/4 width upper bout with a 4/4 size lower bout. What a great combination to project a loud, full sound yet give easy access to the upper register. This double bass makes a great professional jazz axe if you are an acrobatic soloist. This could also be a great conservatory instrument for a tall person. Nicely flamed woods.
