This pre amp is designed specifically for use with a piezo electric pick up. Provides active gain and active boost and cut for Bass & Treble.
The tone controls are shelving style. The width of the Bass & Treble separation effectively provides a midrange control; boosting the Bass & Treble controls will simultaneously provide an effective midrange cut or vice-versa.
The pre-amp housing is made of rugged aluminum and weighs only 7 ounces. For maximum portability and user convenience, it is equipped with a heavy duty stainless steel belt clip and four little black rubber feet. Runs on a 9 volt battery (not Included).
