Spiro's get highest marks for volume, sustain, and a deep growly jazz tone. Primarily a Pizz string. Since 1964, Spiro's are the benchmark for volume and sustain.
Superflexible S0350	Jazz Pizz & some Arco Orchestra	Solo Tuning Set S0360 High C, Extension 4th String, 5th String Low B and Low C, Sorry no Eextension Solo Tuning 4th string. 1/2 Size Set S1630	Braided steel core, with steel wrap.	Also known as Ropecore. Used as a Jazz String, Superflex has plenty of punch and a strong volume but with lower tension than Spiro's and they are much easier under the bow.
