Sergio Scaramelli Bass One-Piece Poplar Back

This is a Very Exciting Bass indeed! It is an Italian made bass from Sergio Scaramelli, a Contemporary Italian Bassmaker. Featuring a one-piece poplar back, best quality tone woods for top and sides, exacting craftsmanship. Scaramelli won First Prize for Sound in the 2011 ISB Competition.

Materials used: For the soundboard: red spruce from Val di Fiemme, red spruce from Valcanale and South-East Swiss spruce. For the back, ribs and neck: white poplar from Emilia Romagna and maple from the former Yugoslavia. All of the materials are naturally seasoned for at least fifteen years.

All models are the personal design of Sergio Scaramelli, inspired by "Emilian School" (Soffritti, Gotti, Carconcini,Cavani...). The construction is totally handmade; maximum quality oil varnish is brush applied. All the accessories and fittings are first quality.
