Roland E. Curb (Bransby) Prelude The Prelude (about 3 minutes) begins with bass alone, and spans the entire range of the instrument. An ostinato section follows, with strict tempo set up in the piano, while the bass plays very freely without meter until the two instruments lock together in unison and eventually fade away, setting up the beginning of the Valse. Comes complete with two piano parts, for orchestral and solo tuning. (about 14 minutes altogether) |
