ONYX Wooden Bass Stand, Pecan Wood

Handcrafted furniture quality bass stand for Studio, Stage, or Display. This beautiful wood bass stand is sculpted from thick solid pecan. The pecan lumber we have was collected from large trees that came down during Hurricane Katrina. The design of the stand includes sweeping curves and hints of a violin body. Oil rubbed natural finish brings out the beauty of the wood.

Precise dovetail joinery holds the stand solidly together without glue so that it can be taken apart for travel or storage. Hand cut pieces interlock, no tools necessary for assembly.

Care and Cleaning: Wipe with a soft cloth to remove dust. Treat as any fine quality wood furniture. Exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading or cracking. Do not immerse in water.

If your bass is in the living room, you're going to need one of these stands to look right with the furniture. PS - every piece of wood is different. Some are flawless red-brown heart wood, others have spalting, and contrasting colors in the wood. Be prepared for very interesting highly figured wood.
