Playing
Characteristic: A good
workhorse orchestra bow.
Comment:
This older Lothar Seifert bow
is in excellent health. The stick shows some nicks from the pit work it
has performed over the years, but is very sound, firm, and remains well
cambered as original The frog has a minor chip on one corner and a bit
of wear at the lining. One nice feature is the hand made divided ebony
and silver generously sized button with silver pins. Very nice. The mechanism
works smoothly and it has new unbleached white hair, just as Lothar intended
when he first made this bow. (Toni Buffa)
