Stick: Dark golden red pernambuco with two cornered, eliptical stick.
Frog: French model ebony frog with a large MOP eye, single silver ring, fully lined back.
Button: Divided nickle silver and ebony barrel button with proportionally more ebony; large MOP dot/ebony ring at end.
Wrap: Black leather over silver thread.

Comment: The bow is stamped LAZTO on the stick twice,once near wrap and once near button - a bit unusual. Original black hair in a heavy wide ribbon. A strong sweeping camber creates even tension all the way to the tip. The ebony frog has a deeper thumb pocket, is shorter than average, and joins the stick at a sharp angle. (Frog is 22mmX29mmX62mm). The head is medium sized, very upright, a typical Italian stylistic feature. The overall shorter length (53.5cm on the hair) is noticable, and will be appreciated by anyone who likes the older, more traditional French model bass bow. An orchestra workhorse bow, it performs with agility and gives a strong, deep tone.
