This
young bowmaker is new to Lemur in 2009, but is
well known in Italy. His bows feature the traditional
Italian styling of French model bows. This particular
bass bow is a good sturdy stick for orchestra play.
It performed well in the spicatto. The head is
tall with a deep comma, with good clean cuts on
the cheeks, down to the toe. Angle of hair to stick
is low. Thick ribbon of strong, black hair. We
liked the quality of Lazare's sticks very much
and thought playability of this bow was excellent.
