These pieces were originally written and published separately, but are often performed together, as a "Salon Suite" as the editor suggests. The highest pitches are near the end of the fingerboard for most of these pieces. Use of bass and treble clefs, but no tenor clef. Editor has made some alterations not found in other addtions, such as an augmented cadenza in the ANDANTE, and the downward octave displacement of some passages in the HUMORESQUE. ______________________________ |
