Kurt Dolling German model pernambuco bass bow in octagon shape. Strong, hard octagon shaped stick with close tight grain. Bow is in excellent condition, wire and black leather wrap neat, showing very little wear. Slender black ebony frog, no eye in pristine condition. We estimate this bow was made late 1940's. Graceful sloping tip, and shallow camber to the stick give extra tension to the bow, making it a workhorse for orchestra play.
