Acoustic Image CLARUS Power Amp at 600 watts, with effects, Cabrio Docking. Series 4 CLARUS is lighter and smaller with basically the same power output (600 watts at 4 ohms) and has lower distortion and noise than previous designs. While the power level is less than SIII most powerful amps, the audible difference is slight and is more than made up for with advantages in size, cost, and overall performance. The result is even better fidelity. Especially noticeable is the reduction in NOISE. Available in ONE Channel, or TWO Channel preamp types. AI has added a switchable limiter to the preamp that will allow players to control distortion when they have to play at the limits of the amps and combos.

Acoustic Image Companion Extension Speakers feature a redesigned cross-over in 1x10 combo to improve the power handling of the mid-range driver. The new cross-over includes a switch that allows adjustment of the mid-range level.

Acoustic Image Combo Amplifier/Speakers now in Series 4

Series 4 (S4) is a simplified lineup of top quality products. All Amplifiers now come with effects (dropping the old R designation). All Combos use the Cabrio Docking System for a removable amp head. All S4 heads and cabinets are compatible with the old SIII components. These amps and cabinets can be configured to make a total of 6 choices in the combos.

• One Power Amp at 600 watts - Clarus with two Preamp types, One Channel and Two Channel.
• Three cabinet types - Coda (preferred for upright bass), Ten2 (also for upright bass), and Corus (for all instrument types)

AI's Combo Amplifiers/Speakers include the CLARUS S4 Power Amp (600 watts) and come with a lightweight slipcover, strap, and power cord.
